SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop system code to meet requirements for information system screens. Analyze user needs and software requirements. Support database development and design. Conduct unit and system testing and validation. Provide general testing support, including staging of test data. Assist to ensure health of Defender Services Management Information System (DSMIS) components such as: Production, Development/test and Failover. Assist with system synchronization with Failover environment. Assist with DSMIS Help Desk support activities.
REQUIREMENTS: A Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Information Systems is required, with at least 3 months of experience as a Programmer Analyst. Intern or graduate assistant experience is acceptable. Experience must include analysis of user needs and system testing and validation procedures. Also required is experience using HTML, CSS, MySQL and JavaScript. May perform work at client sites in greater Washington DC/No. VA area.
